We proudly present:
The world's first carbon-filament lamp
using coal from the burned rainforest.-

IT STARTED WITH A SPARK OF INSPIRATION.
1. Every year we burn down 90.000 km2 of rainforest. Regardless of the fatal consequences for our future. What remains is ashes and coal. We used it to create a unique design-concept: 2. A carbon-filament, manufactured with charcoal from the burned rainforest. 3. We designed a lamp that reminds us in its beauty of our cruelty to nature.

DESIGN.
The design of the lamp revolves around the filament-tree, providing space for an overall clean aesthetic and graceful presentation.
THE SOCLE:
The stable base is cast from concrete and finely smoothed. On top of it a piece of resin-sealed charcoal is placed. The E27 lamp holder made of copper is enclosed by a concrete ring.
THE BULB:
To keep the lamp as pure as possible, it's based on the conventional structure of a carbon filament lamp. However, it elegantly adapts to the proportions of the socle and thus shows the tree in great genuineness. The glass-tree inside the lamp is individually handcrafted. Small steel eyelets ensure the distance between the glowing vessel and the glass. This gives the tree it's unique form.
The result is a lamp, which gives special light.-

We took what's lost to save what remains.
The proceeds of the lamp will benefit
the protection of our rainforest.-
